Getting help at our drug and alcohol treatment program starts with a free non-obligation phone call or an e-mail.
Call now toll-free at: 1-866-487-9010
Our goal in the early stages of your search for alcohol and drug treatment is to help you make an informed decision in your choice of treatment and clear up some commonly held misconceptions about addiction and the process of drug rehabilitation treatment.
If Sunshine Coast Health Centre is a good fit for you or a loved one and you like what you hear about our program, great! If, for any reason, you believe your needs will be better met in another drug and alcohol treatment program, we will point you in the right direction.
You can browse our website or you can pick up the phone and call us: the choice is yours.
The Primary Program is designed for adult males ages 19 and older who are considering Sunshine Coast Health Centre for the first time. The admission procedure is as follows:
- If you have already made the decision to register for the Primary Program please proceed to the Part 1 of the Admission Package which has an online admission form that you can email directly to Admissions staff. Your medical, psychological, alcohol/drug, treatment and legal history will be reviewed by the Nursing Supervisor and, at the discretion of Admissions staff, by the Program Director. A review can usually be done within an hour of receipt of the completed form during regular business hours (evening applications will be reviewed by the next morning). Staff is available by phone 24 hours 7 days a week if you prefer to complete your application over the phone by calling toll-free 1-866-487-9010.
- Next, an admissions coordinator will book an arrival date and time for you or your loved one to start treatment.
- The admissions coordinator will then assist you with making travel arrangements and securing funding prior to your arrival at Sunshine Coast Health Centre.
- As you prepare for your trip to Sunshine Coast Health Centre, please review Part 2 of the Admission Package. Please note that Part 2 of the Admission Package must be signed and completed prior to client arrival.
