It’s Sometimes About the Pizza

It’s a tradition now to make it to this Italian coffee and pizza place – Sciue when I am in Vancouver. They not only have the best coffee, the best pizza, but they have the best staff. I enjoy meeting people and striking up convos, making people laugh and enjoying the connection we can bring to one another through individual experiences.

They know me and the kind of pizza I get – I love it. I truly believe people should take a few more minutes out of their day to get to know people. It’s an enriching experience. Ask real questions, take the time needed to really listen, care for, and be a part of that moment with that person.

I figure we should slow down, stop looking at our phones, make sincere eye contact and some good old-fashioned smiles and REAL conversations. That’s what this world needs more of – moments with people and places. Slow down.

My travels, my favourite pizza place, have enriched me with experiences that I will take with me everywhere. That day I insisted that my taxi drivers take a piece of my pizza and he was so thankful! It’s those little things in life that are always worth sharing!

Pizza and moments shared bring us all closer together.
