I. RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS FOR MEN
YOUR INVESTMENT - When you add it all up - the qualifications of our staff, our newly-expanded facility, oceanfront setting, and the "extras" that most treatment centers charge for - Sunshine Coast Health Center offers a value unequaled by other private addiction treatment providers.
YOUR FAMILY - If you are a family member or spouse, staff at Sunshine Coast we are committed to supporting you before, during, and after treatment with complimentary services that include: telephone support, a 3-day program for family members, a 1-day program for spouses, online support (via the Internet), and reunions held in key cities.
YOUR LONG-TERM SUCCESS - Sunshine Coast is committed to staying connected to our alumni with significantly reduced re-admission fees and a host of complimentary services - refresher weekends, reunions, and online support.

30-day Accelerated Program - $14,000 CAD
42-day Primary Program - $16,000 CAD

Fees listed above do not include 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST). A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to hold a bed for a specific date and will be applied toward the cost of treatment upon admission.

Our rates do not include adjunct therapies not provided on campus (i.e. acupuncture, chiropractic, etc.), airfare (see Airfare to Powell River below), dental work, prescription drugs, and personal items. American clients will be charged for medical services (see Medical Fees below).
Medical Fees
Clients are required to stay their first night in the Medical Unit for monitoring of their physical and emotional health by our medical staff at no additional charge. Additional detoxification deemed necessary by the Medical Director will be subject to an additional charge of $150 for every day following the second night in detox (note: most clients require only an overnight stay in the detox).
Medical services are billed to the client's provincial medical insurance plan (i.e. MSP, Alberta Health Care Insurance, Ontario Health Insurance Program (OHIP), etc.). Clients who do not have valid provincial health plan coverage1 will be charged for physician visits, psychiatrist visits, lab work, and, if necessary, hospitalization.2 Typically, additional medical fees average $2000 CAD. Payment for additional fees is due prior to client discharge.
(1) Note: clients with overdue provincial health insurance premiums, clients residing outside of Canada, or residents of Quebec. (2) Note: hospitalization may be required for clients who require acute care due to medical or psychiatric complications.
Private Accommodation
An additional surcharge of $95 per diem plus 5 percent GST will be applied for clients requesting guaranteed private accommodation. Conditions will apply.*
(*) Note: Clients applying for private accommodation will have their medical and psychiatric history reviewed prior to confirmation. Clients who are at-risk and require closer supervision will be recommended semi-private accommodation in the Main Residence located on campus.
Airfare to Powell River
CDN $150 (one-way) - Sunshine Coast Health Center has secured this reduced rate for flights to Powell River from Vancouver via Pacific Coastal Airlines. Let our Admission staff reserve your flight and make your trip as worry-free as possible.
Method of Payment & Payment in US Dollars
Sunshine Coast Health Center accepts cheque, money order, wire transfer, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Clients paying with a US credit card will be charged in Canadian dollars. The actual amount paid will be indicated on the credit card statement following an exchange rate adjustment as determined by the credit card company. Clients paying by cheque in US dollars will be subject to the Canadian/American dollar exchange rate established by our Canadian bank. Actual fees for clients paying in US dollars will be based on the Canadian/American dollar exchange rate at the time of deposit. Please call us first for the amount payable in US dollars.
Programs for Alumni Re-entering Treatment
The 30-day Alumni Program is available for alumni (returning clients) who have successfully completed a residential program at Sunshine Coast. Since the daily rate of $220 is a significant reduction from the fee for new clients, an additional $450 surcharge will be added for each day required in medical detoxification.
There is no fee for the Refresher Weekend program but reservations are required and are subject to availability. Call toll-free 1-866-487-9010.

II.II. PROGRAMS FOR THE FAMILY
A. FAMILY & COUPLES PROGRAM
The Family & Couples Program is complimentary if you have a family member, employee, friend, or partner in one of the men’s residential programs (see above). Participants in the Monday Couples Program must have a spouse/partner in the Residential Program. If you do not have a significant other in a residential program, a charge of $150 plus tax will be applied. B. FAMILY ONLINE SUPPORT
Alumni of the Family & Couples Program receive Family Online Support: weekly online lessons designed specifically for families & partners impacted by a loved one’s addiction.
