Note: developed in response to new legislation that allows for the involuntary detox and stabilization of drug abusing or drug dependent youth, age 12 to 17 years old. Involuntary services such as this are considered a last resort for youth who are unable or unwilling to engage voluntarily in services for their substance abuse problems.
